May 2009 A Letter From the Principal, Mrs. Holmquist-Burks  It is amazing to me how quickly each year seems to pass. We are now through our standardized testing at Franklin and we are going forward with end of the Principal Mrs. Holmquist-Burks year activities and field trips. This has been a great year.   Our school is full of bright students eager to learn and experience education at it's fullest. Our staff is made of excellent individuals that care about learning and your students. Your partnership with us as parents is vital to the success of our students. As your principal, I wish your families a great summer filled with family activities and happy times. Read with your children and enjoy as many educational Spring Finally has Arrived! activities as you can find. The St. Paul Public Library is a great air-conditioned environment to spend time during the hot summer days.
