Franklin Music Magnet is located at 690 Jackson Street, one block north of University Avenue near downtown, on the east side of the street. Both the north and south entrances are accessible to individuals with physical disabilities, and an elevator joins the first and second floors. The main entrance is located on the south side of the building. You'll see our Franklin Music Magnet banner above the door and a long ramp leading to the entrance doors. Franklin Music Magnet Elementary School is situated on a bluff overlooking downtown St. Paul and the State Capitol. A new annex, dedicated in December 2000, houses state-of-the-art instrumental and vocal music facilities, a parent conference center, a spacious gymnasium, and ELL classrooms. After school activities are offered by ALC and the Boys and Girls Club of St. Paul, which is physically annexed to Franklin.
