Welcome!
I would like to share some of the work we have been doing so far this school year.
After using the district's new assessment tools, the students have begun working hard in their guided reading groups. They will put on plays, complete venn diagrams, keep reading logs and complete many other responses to the literature they have been reading.
We are working hard during Writers' Workshop. We have been learning to make lists, use describing words to make our writing more interesting and sentence structure.
We are moving through the math curriculum with steady progress, and are working on unit four, where we are working on start, change, end problems, telling temperatures, and estimation, along with basic fact practice.
We continue to explore the world through our shared reading and social studies curriculum.

Homework
Students will have math, spelling and a Just Right Reading(JRR) book for homework every day.
Students will also be given a homework packet to complete each weekend.
