Standard of Excellence - Complete Audio Recordings
I'm Mr. Reeve, and am happy to be here at Franklin in a second year with our beginner instrumental music program!

Pictured here with me are my wife Mary (also a music instructor here in the St. Paul Schools at Mississippi Creative Arts Magnet) and our son Robert.  The photo is one of our favorites, and was taken downtown St. Paul in December of 2006 in Rice Park near the Landmark Center (where Rob's school is located).

I teach lessons in Keyboard, Band instruments, and Stringed instruments, primarily at the students' beginner levels.  I'm here at Franklin Wednesday through Friday each week in Room 231.  [I also teach the instrumental music program at Prosperity Heights Elementary here in St. Paul each Tuesday.]

We're all musical, and have had great opportunities and experiences with the doors opened to us by being part of musical performing arts.  We're thankful for this, and are

real believers in what music can do for the lives and friendships of so many people.

Just like any family, musical participation involves responsibility, practice, commitment and teamwork to help see that the best things happen.

I look forward to meeting our fun and musical Franklin families in the months ahead.

Also, please note the very helpful link on this page to assist in listening and practicing our Band learner exercises from the "Standard of Excellence" method book.  All exercises can be listened to directly online, or may be downloaded as MP3s for later playback and practice.

Best to you in life and music!
